Video interface for Peugeot 208

Hello friends,
Since as I guess everybody is interested in playing video files or fitting a rear view camera on the smeg system of our peugeot 208, I just found out this link on alibaba.com about a video interface that can be connected to our OEM screen and has a lot of connectivity options that can be handled through our smeg screen and buttons

VIDEO INTERFACE FOR NEW PEUGEOT 208 ETC...

1. Input Spec (VIDEO INTERFACE)
- 2 x CVBS Input (External video source)
- 1 x CVBS (REAR CAMERA) Input (Rear camera source)
- 1 x Analog RGB Input (Car commander original monitor output)
- 1 x Analog RGB Input (Navigation System output) - OPTION

2. Output Spec.
- 1 x CVBS OUTPUT (Video Out for installing Headrest monitor)
- 1 x RGB OUTPUT(LCD Operation)
- 1 x Audio Select OUTPUT (For operating A/V sources – (ex) 12V is come out on V1 port,
when AV1 is chosen.)

3. Power Spec.
- Input Power : 8VDC ~ 18VDC
- Consumption Power : 5WATT, Max

4. Switch Input mode - NAVI/CVBS1,2 Original MUTE Function : Possible to mute each input by operating Dip S/W
- Possible to switch Input mode with remote control or toggle switch.
- Rear View Camera mode : When to sense rear gear power, be switched to Rear view camera
mode (Impossible to switch to rear mode with Toggle S/W or the Remote control

Il s'agit d'une interface vidéo à relier au SMEG, cela permettrait par exemple de lire des DVD ou d'avoir la caméra de recul
Ça me rappelle un peu le fonctionnement du GPS néo-zélandais posté récemment où en restant appuyé sur une touche, on bascule sur une autre interface...

Ce que notre ami anglais veut savoir, c'est si quelqu'un qui a essayé ce produit peut laisser un feedback.

Pour Alibaba, globalement c'est un site fiable, ils vendent uniquement des produits chinois à prix cassé, mais la qualité ne suit pas toujours... C'est une sorte d'Amazon à la sauce chinoise.
Le seul truc bizarre, c'est que le prix n'apparaît nul part...

Alibaba est une plateforme mettant en relation des fournisseurs / grossistes avec des entreprises... Le prix n'apparaît pas car il est sûrement négociable en fonction de la quantité achetée

Thanks, I saw all about the acap intergrated gps for our smeg...but as I saw now news about the price still from there....and as I guess it is only for gps connection....
As far as the ad I found on Alibaba....I thought of posting it, since there are a lot of connectivity options and not only gps...so I posted it...
Some may find it interesting....I don't know if alibaba is a trustworthy sight with quality products...since I 've never bought anything from there...I usually use Ebay!!!
Nevertheless, if anyone decides to buy one, pls let us know how good it works!!!
